That was quite possibly the best movie ever.

Overheard this morning while getting ready for work. For those who do not know or recall, Steven is 9 and Danny is 5. In this particular scene, the red Power Ranger (I know not which bastardization series they're into right now, they've seen a lot of them) is fighting that ever-elusive, unspecified terrorizer of children's games everywhere, the universal Bad Guy.

Danny: Steven, I just beat you, you're dead now.
Steven: No, Danny, I'm the Red Ranger. I always win, I'm the good guy. See, I took your sword now.
D: You can't take my sword, I already won.
S: No, I took your sword away and now I killed you with it. The game's over.
D: I want to be the Red Ranger this time.
S: Okay, I'll be the bad guy.
D: Okay.
-Pause-
S: Hey Danny. Wouldn't it be a cool surprise if a Bad Guy beat the Red Ranger sometime?
D: Steven, I'm not playing anymore.
S: Why don't you want to play with me?
D: You're cheating.

Things I still need to track down.
-My Knives gloves.
-Vash. In his entirety. Well... I have my right glove - you know, the one that's a perfectly normal glove - my boots and the pants I have made up to look like proper chaps, knee pads and elbow pad for the left arm. It's just all the important shit that's MIA. You know, nothing big. Just the left glove and the coat itself.
On the bright side, Knives is all laid out on the table behind me ready for the few repairs I need to do before the con.
And Vash is nowhere to be found. >.>
Shit.
EDIT: THANK GOD. Oh crap. My mom must have found Vash left out for repairs after Otakon and put him in the boys' closet since mine is so cramped, because I just checked there on a hunch and found it.
Even better, when I lost my mind for the past twenty minutes or so I ripped my room to bits and found my accessories!! Vash's left arm in the state it was in at last Ota, plus chains to pimp it out more. One of Knives' good gloves from the upgrades I did to that one at Ota, and the materials necessary to replace the other if I don't find it. And and and. Oh thank god.
Heart still not at normal rate. :\

Lynx was being a jackass tonight.
My toy Escalade has a bent axle, so when you pull it back to wind it and then let go, it kind of veers to the side. The bitches and ho's are scared now.

Today, I noticed a car turn onto the avenue behind me near Hannah's house. It followed me down the avenue, on to the parkway, along the entire way I was on the parkway, and then off the parkway, at the same exit I did; for the mall.
Given that the mall is huge and a major draw for people even from that far away, it's not that unusual of an occurrence. But this particular car was a white Toyota Avalon - with Florida plates.
I rofl'ed.
(By the way, I know only a few of you will get this and, well, the third one was kind of a major letdown anyway, but yeah. Still amused.)

Anyway. This is one of those days I'm just not interested in being awake. I have my advanced Photoshop class at 11, have to remember to see if anyone found my goddamn flash drive (I win so hard btw) and talk to the department head to see if I can take two courses simultaneously that are supposed to be a sequence because my transfer screwed me over and there's nothing else I can register for that I need until I take both of them.

Then I have to write a paper and then I have Art History.
And then I have to finish my instructional video and play with zombies. I'd like to find time to pop onto WoW and do a few dailies but I just don't know if I have the time. I certainly haven't lately, I haven't even logged on in well over a week now. :\
Once the semester is over I have a lot of crap to catch up on in the having-fun department.

Done with the Dexter video, at least the one that I'll be handing in to class. I expect that I will continue to tinker with it for a while afterward. XD
I am now going back to work on my instructional video we were assigned. I chose to make it on How to Confuse a Cat. Sulu the psycho kitten does a quite admirable job in the title role.
Will upload the Dex video somewhere later if peeps want to see it. For now, back to being semi-productive in class (lol... no, really).
PS: WHO HAS CLASS ALL DAY TOMORROW?? Hahah. No GTA4 launch for me~!! Suckas.

Largely for my own reference to make sure I actually get all this crap done.
Things the Rachel has to do...
-Edit two videos by the end of the semester in, oh... two weeks? Caved and bought a super-discounted copy of Premiere because, um, I'll be using the hell out of it anyway thx. BUT my professor said my final video can be anything I want and ok'ed my doing a Dexter music video for it so MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~ Okay I'm done.
-Built a portfolio website with Flash for stupid advanced Digital Imaging class.
-Write paper on Van Gogh, and three essays for Art History. Van Gogh by class tonight, other ones by the final in, of course, two weeks.
-Not kill customers in a stress-induced rampage.
-Laundry. Craploads of laundry. So much laundry.
-Continue bringing piles of DVD's to Hannah's to keep her adequately amused and distracted. (This is a very important mission. Also I like being a slacker and watching piles of Asian horror movies.)
-Registration tomorrow morning for fall and possibly summer semesters, if any classes I really need are offered during the summer and don't interfere with my precious, precious cons.
SO. If anyone sees me doing anything else, I should receive a thorough verbal ass-kicking. Like, if you see me on AIM, make sure I'm doing work. If you see me on WoW, make sure I've gotten enough done to warrant my taking a break. Seriously. Blah. :\
